While some of Provence is much better seen by bike, whether the vineyards or rolling lavender fields, Provence also has endless foot trails, leading to hidden 500-year-old dry-stone huts, 3000 year-old forts, and to the very roof of Provence – Mont Ventoux – where all of Provence is sprawled out beneath you.
